Some amazing fares are currently available with Air India if you intend to fly from India to the US (New York, specifically) and back in the coming months.

Air India is offering INR 50,000 round-trip fares to New York.

I’ve been watching the Air India website for hours now to see the deal here and if it was a fluke or if fares were dipping to fly to the US. But if you have a near-term plan to fly to the US, Air India is filing fares, which can be availed at about INR 50,000 for a round trip between Indian stations and the US (only New York) in the coming months.

Here is a round trip for next month between Mumbai and New York JFK that I just priced out.

The fares are available on the non-stop from Mumbai to New York and the one-stop flight via Delhi.

These fares are at least INR 25-30,000 cheaper than the next best option.

And they are available not only from Mumbai but also from Delhi and Bengaluru. Other stations might be available as well. Here is a grab of the fares available from Delhi…

The fares are all available only in the Economy cabin, not in Business Class. And dates appear to be spread through October – November 2023 (Daily) and many dates in December, though not all days.

But remember, this pricing is only available on booking a roundtrip, not a one-way ticket, and only for origin in India and flying to New York and back. For instance, fares go back to INR 40K-ish when you price one way from India or the other way around from New York. Also, these fares are only filed on India – NYC roundtrips and not the other way around from New York to India flights.

Bottomline

Air India has some great fares if you intend to line up a trip to New York in the coming months, only for departures from India to the US and return. Many dates are available between October – December 2023, but you must book quickly before these disappear.
