Don’t we all love sharing our travel photos on Instagram? Social media and travel now go hand-in-hand and in today’s time and age you really haven’t travelled if you don’t share your experiences with the rest of the world.
Instagram, the most popular picture sharing app has more than 500 million active users who share an average of 80 million photos every day. No wonder #travel has more than 200 million mentions on Instagram.
The Conrad Maldives is taking its social media game to a totally new level. Now if you are vacationing in the Maldives, there is no need to waste your time to get that perfect insta shot by posing at weird angles.
Hilton’s Conrad Rangali Island Resort now offers its guests complimentary access to a team of social media wizards called the “Insta-butlers” who will help take the perfect, brag-worthy pictures of you on the Rangali Island.
These “Insta-butlers” will know the most picturesque spots on the island and will take you on #InstaTrails; which include a visit to Ithaa, the world’s first all-glass undersea restaurant at the Conrad and a quick click by a traditional Maldivian swing, typically positioned by the ocean.
If you are curious and wish to learn some Instagram tricks, your Instagram butler can also give you tips and advice, like the right poses to snap that perfect selfie and how to determine the best natural light to take those picturesque sunrise and sunset shots.
Guests can also book customized itineraries, for example, yoga sessions, in which you learn the most Instagrammable yoga poses; a one-hour stargazing experience to learn how to take nighttime snaps and even a half-day tour of the island to take pictures of Maldivian culture.
The entire “Insta-butler” service is not just going to be about someone simply taking photos for guests but an opportunity for hotel guests to improve their picture taking skills and learn how to better engage on social media. So that if the next hotel you stay at does not have social media-savvy staff, you’ll be confident enough to capture some great pictures all by yourself.
I am loving this concept of Insta-butlers and this service for me could be a big incentive to book my next stay in the Maldives at the Conrad. After all, both Ajay and I spent quite some time taking Instagram pictures during our stay at the Park Hyatt Maldives.
Clearly, after a stay at the Conrad, Maldives vacation photos will never be #basic again.
What do you think of having an “Insta-butler”? Anyone stayed at the Conrad and use this service?
