Deal: Club Vistara redemptions at 25% discount for travel through February 28, 2022

Club Vistara, the frequent flyer program of Vistara, has launched a new promotion to offer a 25% discount on Club Vistara Redemptions through February 2022.

The lean season caused by the new variant, and traditional low season, has caused Vistara to offer a new deal to bump up occupancy, and hoping that in the process, they can extinguish some points off their books as well.

Vistara is now offering a 25% discount on the number of points required for making a redemption to travel between January 29 and February 28, 2022. While the airline has not officially announced this promotion yet, you can check any domestic route on Air Vistara’s online redemption website, and you will find a 25% discount, priced in for travel till February 28, 2022.

I took the online redemption feature from Vistara for a spin, and it priced the new award pricing correctly.

Remember a couple of things. This discount is valid only for domestic redemptions and not for an upgrade with CV points, only redemptions. The discount is great for travelling in the premium cabin, but you might be able to get a low cash price on the tickets as well and hence the discount on economy class will not be too great if you book tickets over 15 days out.

The last of such sales I remember from Vistara came way back in 2016 when they offered a 50% discount on CV redemptions. So, this comes after quite a while.

Bottomline

Vistara is offering a 25% discount on travel via redemption of Club Vistara points on domestic flights in India for travel through February 28, 2022. It might be a great idea to explore redeeming your Club Vistara points for some premium cabin tickets on Vistara in the coming days.

Are any of you planning to redeem using Club Vistara points?

  1. Home page of the article mentions “They have also announced a 50% discount on redemption tickets in case you make a redemption ticket booking using their website.”

    How does that work?

  2. I just chanced on the “discounted” redemption while booking for the DEL-PNQ sector (within 15 days of travel). When I checked livefromalounge this offer was already listed! That’s super fast, Ajay.
