Axis Bank and Club ITC, the loyalty programme of ITC Hotels, have launched a promotion that offers an additional 10% points on conversion from Axis Bank EDGE Rewards to Club ITC.

Axis Bank conversions to Club ITC offering a 10% bonus

As per the promotion terms, if you convert your points from your Axis Bank EDGE Rewards to Club ITC points, you will receive an additional 10% points courtesy of Club ITC. While there is no end date mentioned, the customer care of Club ITC will tell you that the bonus is going to be extended to everyone who transfers in through August 31, 2023. This is the second extension of the promotion.

You can usually convert your Axis EDGE Rewards Points/Miles to Club ITC Green Points as per the below transfer ratios:

• HNI Cards: 5 EDGE Rewards -> 4 Club ITC Green Points
• Atlas: 1 EDGE Miles -> 2 Club ITC Green Points
• Affluent Cards: 5 EDGE Rewards ->1 Club ITC Green Points
• Other Cards: 10 EDGE Rewards -> 1 Club ITC Green Points

However, when you convert into at least a minimum of 20,000 Club ITC points from Axis Bank, you will receive a bonus of 10% points, which means, for an unknown time into the future, Axis Bank points transfer into Club ITC at the following ratio:

• HNI Cards: 5 EDGE Rewards -> 4.4 Club ITC Green Points
• Atlas: 1 EDGE Miles -> 2.2 Club ITC Green Points
• Affluent Cards: 5 EDGE Rewards ->1.1 Club ITC Green Points
• Other Cards: 10 EDGE Rewards -> 1.1 Club ITC Green Points

Double Dip with the Exquisite Rewards Promotion

Club ITC is also offering another promotion through August 15, 2023, where they offer up to 30% Discount on room night redemptions and a 21% discount on redemption for Club Culinaire (their dining programme). When you convert your points from Axis to Club ITC, you may get another 10% Bonus in points conversion, reducing the number of points required from Axis Bank to be converted.

Bottomline

A new promotion from Club ITC offers Axis Bank credit and debit card holders a 10% Green Points bonus on the conversion of their credit card/ debit card points. However, no date is attached to this promotion, and my last points transfer into Club ITC (which takes 4-5 days) did not receive this bonus. It was made in June 2023. If it works, though, there is the opportunity to double dip with the Club ITC promotion, where a discount on redemption is offered through August 2023.
