Club Carlson Redemptions for 50% off in Europe, Africa and Middle East

A reader Neet left a comment on my recent blogpost about my stays for the Club Carlson Giveaway 2012.

I am taking Ma and Pa to Europe in September and took advantage of the 50% off redemptions for Radisson Blu (their best hotel) in Sweden, Hungary and Switzerland.

Since I did not know of any particular new promotions on Club Carlson which offered this 50% off redemption rate, I clicked away to find out what is on offer. Here is what I saw…

Hotels in Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Ethopia, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, UAE and UK were available in this list, although it is safe to say that the list does not include key cities.

On clicking through a redemption link for a random date, random hotel, and it turns out the promocode 50REDEEM which was being applied still works out here.

I indeed did go on and successfully block a room for the number of points announced. This promotion seems to have carried on from December 2011 and turns out Club Carlson is still honoring the 50% off redemption rates in these hotels.

So for all of you richer with the Club Carlson Giveaways, this is a nice opportunity to maximise your stays on those points with a massive 50% off!
