Citibank is back with a bang with the PremierMiles Credit Card promotions. Earlier, they used to offer double miles on spends, sometimes on International, sometimes on Hotels, and so on. This year, the Citibank PremierMiles International Spends promotion is available between May 22, 2015 to July 22, 2015.
You need to register here before June 22, 2015 to be able to participate in the promotion. The cap on earning is 25000 bonus Citi PremierMiles. With the current promotion, here is how earning stacks up over the next 2 months:
- Airline spends (non INR): 50 PremierMiles/INR 100 = 25 Miles/INR 100 or 45 INR/INR 100
- Non-Airline spends (non INR): 20 PremierMiles/INR 100 = 10 Miles/INR 100 or 9 INR/INR100
The bonus miles will be credited to your account by September 30, 2015. This PDF has all the terms & conditions.
I like these kind of promotions, since Citi is making a secular push to reward as many members as possible, and not the top 1000 spenders for instance. If you’re spending only on non-airline spends, you are getting bonus miles for about INR 1.56 lakh of spending, while if you’re spending on international tickets, you’d expire the cap on INR 62,500 spend itself.
Where will you be spending to get your bonus PremierMiles?

Hi AJ,
Ive had a lot of international spends on my premiermiles card in may and june. And i just got my card converted to a prestige card. Will i still get the bonus points in september?
Also will i get the full bonus or after the 55% devaluation from premiermiles to prestige.
I have to book DEL-PVG-DEL tickets on Air India. Is there a way to make it a foreign currency transaction to qualify for this offer?
Any idea whether buying LifeMiles would qualify as an airline spend?
@Superflyboy yes!
I believe there are FCC on international spend. Could you please include that as well in the blog? Thanks.
@Antony that is a given. Only in the USA some issuers waive it off on some products
Hi AJ,
It’s a great offer indeed; being a PM CC holder I wonder why I didn’t get this communication from Citibank!
Thanks for sharing.
Ruchir
@Ruchir they go out in batches, so you’ll get it at some point of time.
Thanks for the post Ajay.
Are you aware how Citibank Premier Miles card handles sites such as kaligo.com and rocketmiles.com? Do they qualify for 10x?
@Krishna to my knowledge they are normal websites, since they are not coded as airlines.
