Wondering what to do with your Citi points? Take part in our townhall on June 19, 2021

Ever since Citi decided to plan an exit from their Indian business, I’ve been fielding some questions almost on a daily basis about how do people want to use up their points. I figured instead of me talking 1-1 with people, it would perhaps be a better idea to bring together a whole community of our readers to help everyone learn from each other about the use cases for Citi point transfers, such as Citi Prestige and Citi PremierMiles.

The Citi Prestige/PremierMiles Townhall

On June 13, 2021, we organised the first Citi Credit Cards townhall, largely for those who have cards with transferable currencies with Citi. We had a full house.

Unfortunately, we had to turn away many people who wanted to register in the end, as we had reached capacity for the event. To clear the backlog, we are hosting another Citi Credit Cards townhall, specifically for those who have cards with transferable currencies with Citi. The agenda would be to discuss transfer options and to make some good use of the Citi points that we are all sitting on. Largely free-flowing.

The event would be held on Zoom, on June 19, 2021 (Saturday) at 5 PM, and we go on for about 1.5 hours. There are two ways to sign up.

  • Alumni of Mileage Mentor MasterClass & Points Purse, and members of the LFAL India Travel Lounge CommunityIf you have attended a prior workshop with us, or you are already a member of our Facebook community (signed up and approved till June 14, 2021), you get complimentary access to the event. However, to filter out the no-shows, we would request you to go ahead and pay the commitment fees and this would be refunded after you have attended the event to your source account. Please use this link to register for your special access and pay the commitment fees via the link in the form. Those who have already availed of a complimentary ticket on June 13 won’t be considered for a second one.
  • Everyone else: There is modest non-refundable commitment fees to the event, which you can pay here and register. You can also use this opportunity to up the amount to support LFAL operations.

There were some people who registered for the first event but could not attend due to various circumstances. Please drop us an email, and we will add you to the second event on a case by case basis.

There are limited seats, so sign-ups will be allotted on a first come first serve basis. The Zoom link will be sent out on Friday, June 18, 2021, in the evening for those who have signed up.

And if you are not a member of the LFAL India Travel Lounge, do sign up to access similar events in the future.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday. Sign up now, and get first dibs. Questions? Put them up in the comments below and we will try and get to them as soon as possible.
