In case you’ve been wondering where to go for your next business dinner or date night, Citibank got you covered. While every premium credit card worth their name has been adding on a Taj InnerCircle Epicure membership for years, Citibank has started to make a difference for premium diners where they matter.
Citi partnered with Vir Sanghvi & Yuvraj Singh backed EazyDiner, which is a dining reservation platform which has some great partnerships with restaurants which usually wouldn’t be found on dining platforms in the first place. Marquee restaurants that are bookable only on EazyDiner Prime include Indian Accent (New Delhi), Wasabi by Morimoto (Taj Mahal, Delhi), Wasabi by Morimoto (Taj Mahal Palace and Towers, Mumbai), Megu (The Leela Palace, Mumbai), China Kitchen (Grand Hyatt, Mumbai) and Masala Library (Mumbai). Further, they have the only access pass to get you into Gaggan on short notice, sort of!
EazyDiner Prime is a sort of an upper-end dining program, which was initially offered only to American Express customers, and now is open for everyone to buy. You get between 25% to 50% off at over 800 restaurants. Here are all the perks of EazyDiner Prime:
- Minimum 25% to a maximum 50% off
- A complimentary drink at 100+ restaurants
Before you think why do you need the Prime membership, it’s because many restaurants are only bookable for Prime Members only. Various cardholders are getting numerous perks, depending on their cards.
For November 2018, Citibank and EazyDiner are running a special promotion. Citibank Ultima Credit card, Citibank Prestige Credit card and Debit Cardholders of Citigold and Citigold Private Client customers are going to get one year of EazyDiner Prime membership worth INR 2495 free. You essentially, signup, pay INR 2495 + GST and get INR 2495 cash back on your Citi credit card/account within a few days.
Other Citi cardholders also have a different promotion going for them. Customers are eligible for 50% cashback on the EazyDiner Prime Annual Membership subscription as well as 2x reward points on their transaction amount. This offer is valid on Citibank Credit & Debit Cards except for Citibank Corporate Credit card, Citibank Ultima Credit card, Citibank Prestige Credit card and Debit Cardholders of Citigold and Citigold Private Client customers.
Here is how the other products earn points:
- Citi Rewards Card: 1 point for Rs. 125 spent + 1 bonus point for Rs. 125 spent
- Citi IOC Card: 1 point for Rs 150 spent + 1 bonus point for Rs 150 spent
- Citi Cashback Card: 0.5 point for Rs 100 spent + 0.5 bonus point for Rs 100 spent
- Citi Shoppers Stop Card: 1 point for Rs 100 spent + 1 bonus point for Rs 100 spent
- Citi PremierMiles Card: 4 points for Rs 100 spent + 4 bonus points for Rs 100 spent
If you haven’t signed on yet, I’d highly recommend you sign up now. Membership is free, and the perks are pretty good. So why not. The last time I ate out with this card, I got 50% off the entire meal, which is a great benefit. And I used the benefit not once, but twice on the same day, so that was a significant saving for me. Here are all the T&C.
I’d highly recommend you sign up for EazyDiner Prime as a Citibank customer and check it out for yourself. There are significant savings at member restaurants, and many buy-one-get-one meals at high-end restaurants for those date brunches too.
If you are not an EazyDiner member, use my referral code AJAYA5635, and you get INR 500 when you complete your first meal.
Are you an EazyDiner Prime Member? What has been your experience?
I have Zomato Gold, EazyDiner Prime and Dineout Plus (all complementary through credit card tie-ups) and I find Zomato Gold the best. The main advantage that I think Zomato Gold has over others is that you don’t need prior reservations.
Personally, for more people and especially for food, I prefer Eazy diner/Nearby
Dineout hasn’t been that great for non metros.
P.S- Dineout plus- complimentary on which card?
Seems there is bug which gets you 1 year subscription for free. Tried and worked for me.
There is no cashback for the Premier Miles Card?
@Ram 50% cashback and 2X points. it says so above.
