British Airways has launched a new promotion, where they are offering to double the (redeemable) miles earned on your flights through January 2023. Here are the details.

British Airways Double Avios Promotion

British Airways’ new double Avios promotion is valid for bookings made between November 4 and November 20, 2023, and for flights that are flown until the end of January 31, 2023. The promotion is simple, but you need to register here before you can be eligible for your Double Avios. All Executive Club members globally can take part.

The promotional offer gets you the ability to credit up to four qualifying flights with double Avios. A Qualifying Flight is a single leg of a British Airways-booked journey (operated by BA or codeshared with AA, Iberia, Finnair) that departs from one location and lands in another, e.g. Delhi to London or London to New York. The key is, existing bookings do not qualify, and only new bookings made post-registration will count for double Avios. Double Avios is calculated from the base Avios, this is before any Tier, or cabin bonuses are applied.

Double Avios is awarded on the first four Qualifying Flights that are flown post registering and booking, however, the order of booking does not determine the order in which Qualifying Flights are awarded. The bookings must be made between November 4-20, 2022, and travel must be completed between November 4, 2022, and January 31, 2023.

Eligible Participants who complete any Qualifying Flights will be automatically awarded double Avios 24-48 hours after completion of each Qualifying Flight up to a maximum of four.

British Airways is offering a double Avios bonus on flights which are booked under the special promotional offer of British Airways. Flights have to be booked by November 20, 2022, however, can be flown by January 23, 2023.
