IHG Rewards Club has recently launched a promotion to promote Intercontinental hotels along with the Ambassador program.
Between now and December 31, 2017, all InterContinental Ambassador members will be rewarded an additional 10,000 IHG Rewards Club points for every Club InterContinental stay in the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa, excluding hotels in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
Intercontinental hotels make up IHG’s top most luxury hotels and there are over 50 hotels participating in the region. As for the Ambassador membership it is a paid program offering membership for 12 months at a price of 200USD. As an IHG Rewards Club member you can also buy this membership for 32,000 points. After 12 months, members can renew their membership for an annual fee of 150 USD or 24,000 points.
The benefits of the Ambassador membership include complimentary weekend night certificate, confirmed room upgrade and 4pm late checkout.
The offer is open to all existing Ambassador members and new members who sign up for the Ambassador membership. You need to be staying on a Club Intercontinental rate to be eligible to earn these points. To earn the bonus points under this promotion you must register here and the points will reflect within 6-8 weeks of completing your stay.
Are you an IHG Ambassador member? Tell us if you think it’s worth paying up for the Ambassador membership.
What constitutes as a ‘renewed’ member …is it renewed within the period of the promotion or renewed at any time?
I’m not sure why my post was deleted. Per the terms and conditions, it is not valid for people in the Americas, Europe, or Pacific. From the terms and conditions:
“Only available for new and renewed Ambassadors residing in Asia Pacific (excluding China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), the Middle East and Africa.”
It’s prompting me to input a promotion code
Only available for new and renewed Ambassadors residing in Asia Pacific (excluding China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), the Middle East and Africa.
Ah that explains it, thanks
