Bengaluru to transition from T1 to T2 for international operations.

KIAL has now announced the move of all international flights to Terminal 2 starting September 12, 2023. Star Air, AIX Connect, Air India and Vistara had transitioned to Terminal 2 earlier.

The migration will be activated at 10:45 AM on September 12 for international flights. However, this will cause a split operation for IndiGo, which operates both international and domestic operations. IndiGo flies to various destinations in the Middle East (Doha, Dubai), South East Asia (Singapore, Bangkok) and SAARC (Colombo and Male). Passengers can avail of a shuttle bus service between Terminal 1 and 2.

The following flights will be the first ones to arrive at Terminal 2. Incidentally, Saudia Airlines SV866 will arrive at 10:15 AM as the first flight.  a screenshot of a flight schedule

Bottomline

Terminal 2 Bengaluru Airport will see international operations launch on September 12, 2023. Effective 10:45 AM on the date, flights will move to T2. This will mean customers booked on IndiGo will now have to be transferred between T1 and T2 when they have to fly internationally via BLR.
