Axis Bank Credit Cards has launched a new promotion today, which might be useful for those on select Axis Bank credit cards that fall in the Affluent category. Here are the details.

Turkish Airlines 2X Miles campaign for select Axis Bank Credit Cards

Axis Bank has launched a new promotion, offering double the usual miles for their Atlas Credit Card, Privilege Credit Card and Axis Bank Select Credit Card holders. Under the promotion terms, if you initiate a transfer between February 7 and March 7, 2023, for these three credit cards, you will get double the miles in your Turkish Airlines Miles and Smiles account.

That means the following conversion ratio will apply:

• Atlas Credit Card EDGE Miles: 1 Mile = 4 Turkish Airlines Miles
• Privilege Credit Card EDGE Rewards: 10 EDGE Rewards = 2 Turkish Airlines Miles
• Axis Bank Select Credit Card EDGE Rewards: 10 EDGE Rewards = 2 Turkish Airlines Miles

However, the 2X conversion is only valid for up to 20,000 miles received in the Turkish Airlines M&S Account. This means if you request for 10,000 Atlas EDGE Miles to be converted, you get 40,000 miles, but if you ask for 15,000 EDGE Miles to be converted, you get 50,000 Miles only (10K Miles convert to 40K Miles and the rest 5K Miles convert to 10K Miles).

Why should you go for it?

Turkish Airlines Miles & Smiles is a great programme. From an Indian perspective, you can usually route point to point in India for 12.5K Turkish Miles across the country in Air India Business Class (one-way). On international routes to the US and Europe, you will be able to get a very reasonable redemption using these miles. However, Turkish Airlines Miles & Smiles has a hard expiry of three years, so please keep in mind that before you initiate the transfer.

Bottomline

The new Axis Bank 2X promotion is offering double miles for Atlas Credit Card, Privilege Credit Card and Axis Bank Select Credit Card holders who choose to convert their EDGE Miles/EDGE Rewards to Turkish Airlines Miles by March 7, 2023. The promotion is limited to the first 20,000 miles credited into your destination account after conversion. If you do not have these cards, applying for the Privilege Credit Card already gets you 12,500 EDGE Rewards on sign-up, so that is a head start in case you want to participate in this promotion.
