I am sure we have all gotten done everything which we had been putting off for a lazy day by now in this lockdown. For me, while I’ve finally taken to cooking, I’ve still been putting off writing up a summary of what I’ve been up to during the lockdown.
News is we are all not flying for another few weeks at least. So, at LiveFromALounge, we have been trying to organise a few conversations to connect LFAL readers with some of the best brains in the travel industry. For the first such talk, we had a conversation with Aditya Ghosh, Sanjiv Kapoor and Rahul Taneja, all airline executives with great experience in under their belt. If you missed it, catch it on our YouTube channel.
Time for the second one!
On Thursday, April 23, 2020, we will have onboard Nitin Sarin. Nitin is a lawyer known for his keen and deep passion for Aviation. Nitin is an expert in aircraft financing, aircraft leasing, dealing with regulatory issues and other cross borders asset-based financing.
Nitin was recently involved in several transactions on behalf of an aircraft manufacturer where the total value of the purchase exceeded 16 billion $ USD. Previously, he set the benchmark for successfully repossessing an aircraft from India in the quickest possible time of only 48 hours. 2018 also saw Sarin work for the US-based company which purchased (by auction) the (in)famous Airbus A319ACJ (VT-VJM) owned by Dr Vijay Mallya, Chairman, Kingfisher Airlines. Being a drone pilot himself, Mr Sarin has now ventured into the field of drone / UAS laws.
The intention is to hear about his stories in aviation and get a bit of colour on his current situation that we are all staring into. I can’t promise a crystal ball, but it should be an exciting conversation nevertheless. If you’d like to attend this conversation or just listen in from the comfort of your home, RSVP here and we will send you the details about how to connect.
After the chat, we will also be hosting a recording on our YouTube channel, so if you haven’t subscribed to our channel, do so now.
