ANA Mileage Club Sale for travel through September 2026

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has kicked off a reduced-mileage award campaign. For a limited time, ANA Mileage Club members can book selected international economy award flights using significantly fewer miles than normal — often up to 50 % off standard award pricing.

The image is an advertisement for the ANA International Flight Awards' "Discount Mileage Campaign." It features a central graphic with text offering "all eligible routes 50% off" and "Honolulu one-way from 8,750 miles." The background includes various travel destination images, such as beaches with palm trees, a traditional Asian temple, a city skyline, and futuristic structures. The bottom text indicates the reservation and ticketing period from February 20 to February 28, 2026.

The awards are limited to select stations, and you need to issue the ticket on miles between February 20 and 28, 2026 (JST),  for travel between March and September 2026 (dates vary by route/season).

Routes & Redemption Rates — Up to 50 % Off

ANA’s official campaign list covers a wide range of destinations across Mainland China, Asia, Oceania, and the Pacific. The discount applies only to economy award seats on specific routes. Premium cabins are not included.

Here’s the general picture:

  • Asia Routes (One-Way Economy)
    • Tokyo ↔ Hong Kong — 4,250 miles (campaign price) vs ~8,500 miles standard
    • Tokyo ↔ Bangkok — 7,500 miles vs ~15,000 miles standard
    • Tokyo ↔ Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai, etc — 7,500–8,750 miles (season dependent)

That’s effectively up to half off the regular award price.

  • Hawaii & Oceania
    • Tokyo ↔ Honolulu — 8,750 miles (campaign) vs ~17,500 miles standard
    • Tokyo ↔ Perth — 9,250 miles vs ~18,500 miles standard

ANA lists eligible dates and required miles for each route on its official campaign page; the displayed miles are for one-way flights.

 A Real-World Example: India ↔ Japan

For India, the only station where this discount is available is Mumbai. Mumbai ↔ Tokyo return is available for ~15,000 ANA miles total (plus ~ INR 26,000 taxes/fees). The travel dates available are between April 1 and September 30, 2026. However, for itineraries originating from Japan, the following periods are not eligible.

  • April 24  to April 27, 2026
  • May 1 to May 3, 2026
  • August 7  to August 10, 2026
  • September 16  to September 27, 2026

The miles required will vary per date. Here are the dates when the pricing changes.

The image is a chart showing the required miles for a campaign, categorized by travel season. - **Low Season**: Regular required miles are 15,000, reduced to 7,500 miles for the campaign. Eligible departure periods are April 1 to April 28, 2026, and May 11 to June 30, 2026. - **Regular Season**: Regular required miles are 17,500, reduced to 8,750 miles for the campaign. Eligible departure periods are July 1 to July 17, 2026, and August 24 to September 30, 2026. - **High Season**: Regular required miles are 25,000, reduced to 12,500 miles for the campaign. Eligible departure periods are April 29 to May 10, 2026, and July 18 to August 23, 2026.

To generate ANA Mileage Club Miles, you can transfer from your American Express Membership Rewards to Marriott Bonvoy, and from there, to ANA Mileage Club. Or, you can buy Marriott Bonvoy points with a 40% Bonus. The transfer matrix works as such:

  • American Express Membership Rewards to Marriott Bonvoy: 1 MR: 1 MB (Instantaneous)
  • Marriott Bonvoy to ANA Mileage Club: 3 MB convert into 1 Mileage Club Mile
  • 5,000 Bonus Miles in ANA Mileage Club for every 60,000 Marriott Bonvoy points transferred

Effectively, this works out to a 2.4:1 ratio from Marriott Bonvoy to ANA Mileage Club when converting  60,000 Marriott Bonvoy points.

Bottomline

This ANA Mileage Club 50% off sale is a good deal if you intend to visit Japan in the next few weeks, during the Cherry Blossom season. For the latter part of the year, you can get cheaper deals by buying revenue tickets, perhaps, which would work out cheaper.
