As a part of its Unwrap Celebrations campaign, where American Express is rolling out a lot of promotions in a build-up to the festive season, American Express is now offering a redemption offer for members.

American Express has a huge catalogue of vouchers it offers for redemption against Membership Rewards as well, and these usually are offered at INR 0.25 value per Membership Rewards point spent. The value of the redemption is similar to the value gained on a statement credit.

However, for a brief moment, till November 7, 2021, American Express is offering a 33% hike in the value of these redemptions on certain brands. An INR 1000 voucher will cost a lower number of points for these brands, as listed below. The discount on points is between 7% to 25%, but essentially 25%.

If you’d like to redeem some of your Membership Rewards points against shopping vouchers, this might be a great time to get them for a lesser number of points.

Bottomline

American Express is offering a redemption opportunity to get vouchers at up to 33% less number of points till November 7, 2021, on select brand vouchers, including Amazon and Tanishq. Make use of this opportunity to get some gifts for less.
