One of the promotions for 2021 from American Express for their cardmembers had stated was a new cashback up to INR 10,000 was coming for salon spending.

American Express has already been working with Truefitt and Hill for over six months already. However, they seem to have taken the Amex Offers section offline for now, so there was no announcement on the renewal of the promotion.

As per the details of the promotion launched, the American Express Platinum Card will credit up to INR 2,500 at Truefitt & Hill locations for members during the quarter of November 1, 2021 to January 31, 2022. The promotional statement credit will be automatically applied on your account, without the need to enrol for the promotion.

The following outlets are participating:

• Truefitt & Hill: Mumbai (Juhu, Khar, Prabhadevi, Lower Parel, Lokhandwala, Tardeo), Gurgaon, Bangalore, Pune, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi (Punjabi Bagh)

Having been a customer of Trufitt and Hill for a couple of years, I can tell you that the whole salon experience is a delightful one. However, you can only afford perhaps one of the royal experiences in this entire money spent. You can also pick up salon products from the outlet, or you can adjust it towards the annual membership or get a voucher.

Terms of the promotion

• 100% cashback will be applied every time, and the offer is limited to a maximum of INR 2,500 cashback applied to your Card during the offer period.
• Offer valid on transactions made on the saved Card directly in-person only at participating Truefitt & Hill and Silhouette Salon locations. Valid at India locations only. Excludes online transactions.
• Cashback should appear on your billing statement within 90 days.
• The 100% cashback is on an account level, so even supplementary cardmembers can use it for services.

Remember, there is also another promotion ongoing with Lakme Salons for Platinum and Gold Chargecard members.

Bottomline

American Express Platinum Cardmembers will be able to enjoy a Salon trip for free when paying with their card, up to a payment of INR 2,500 per quarter. Don’t forget your mask and social distancing protocols while you do that.
