Is Diwali, Kuch Meetha Ho Jaye? Said American Express to their cardmembers, who are receiving Zomato Gold codes on their registered email from American Express as a part of a new promotion launched today.

American Express ties up with Zomato to offer Zomato Gold to all personal card members.

Zomato Gold is the nth iteration of Zomato’s paid loyalty programme, which offers free delivery to customers who offer via the Zomato platform and also offers discounts on tables booked and payments made via Zomato’s table booking service. I say nth because the product has seen other shapes and forms before and was relaunched in January 2023. The iteration before this was called Zomato Pro.

As a part of a promotional tie-up between Zomato and American Express, all the personal card members are being rolled out Zomato Gold memberships via a promotion code valid for use till December 15, 2023.

• Complimentary One-year membership is being extended to the American Express Platinum Card and American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Card members.
• Complimentary Three-month membership is being extended to the American Express Gold Card, American Express Platinum Travel Credit Card and American Express Membership Rewards Credit Card members.
• Complimentary Three-month membership is also being extended to American Express Smart Earn Credit Card members, who can get another three-month membership when they spend an additional INR 7,500 on Zomato within three calendar months from the date they first receive a code. The second code will be sent to them within 65 days of the expiry of the three months if they’ve made the INR 7,500 spend.

If a Cardmember is already a Zomato Gold Member, using the voucher code will extend their membership by three months. The promotion is limited to card members who held an American Express card on or before October 10, 2023.

Cardmembers who have signed up for the American Express Platinum Card, American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Card or Smart Earn Credit Card post-October 10, 2023, will receive the voucher code within 60 days of card issuance, provided Cardmembers have opted in for Marketing communications at the time of card issuance and have received an Offer communication directly from American Express through email.

American Express has rolled out a new promotion, where they have tied up with Zomato to offer their membership service, Zomato Gold, to American Express credit and charge cardmembers for three months to a year. You can check your email to find your unique code from Zomato in an email from American Express.
