American Express has just launched a new milestone benefit for the American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Card, which would interest those who put a lot of money on this credit card.
Till so far, American Express has been offering an INR 500 Bookmyshow/Flipkart voucher for those who put INR 25,000+ in a calendar month on the Platinum Reserve card. Now, American Express has added a Taj Voucher worth INR 10,000 per annum for those who spend at least INR 500,000 on the card in a membership year.
However, AmEx will only provide this voucher to those who pay the annual fee of INR 10,000 + GST for the card renewal, essentially making it free. The Taj voucher will be sent to the registered email address within 120 days once the Card is renewed and the annual fee is paid for renewal.
Bottomline
American Express has just added a new benefit for the paid cardmembers of the American Express Platinum Reserve Card, offering them an INR 10,000 Taj Voucher, effectively making it free of cost for them if they spend INR 5 Lakhs on the card in any membership year.
What do you think of this move from American Express on the Platinum Reserve Credit Card?

Hi Ajay,
I got the email from Amex today about the same benefit though I am having no fee Platinum Reserve Card.
Thanks,
Sachin
@Sachin so did others. I believe it was sent to the whole pool of Reserve customers since they had no way to segregate between paid and non paid cards
