American Express has launched a new promotion on the occasion of the upcoming holiday season, offering their card members an opportunity to earn additional rewards for their purchases. Remember, this might be a targeted offer, so not all members would have received it.

American Express has launched a new promotion, offering bonus vouchers over and above the regular reward points for purchases made through January 10, 2023. Eligible members would have received an email from American Express to sign up for the promotion. Specific links have been sent out to eligible members. The card member cannot request enrollment via call and/or chat.

During this promotional period, American Express is offering additional gift vouchers over and above the reward points they usually offer members. Various products have different offers, so let me list them out for you per card product:

  1. Spend INR 5,00,000 and get a Taj voucher worth INR 25,000. [Additional 5% Rewards]
  2. Spend INR 3,00,000 and get a Taj voucher worth INR 15,000. [Additional 5% Rewards]
  3. Spend INR 2,00,000 and get a Taj voucher worth INR 10,000. [Additional 5% Rewards]

Spends on the Supplementary Card(s) will only be accounted for under the Basic Card. Spends will be considered based on the transaction initiation date and only after the enrolment is completed.

The fulfilment e-voucher will be fulfilled to your registered email address with American Express on or before May 10, 2023.

Bottomline

American Express is offering select members an additional voucher on completing a minimum spend between December 3, 2022, and January 10, 2023. The value is 5% over and above the regular spending rewards. Enrolment is required via a unique link sent in your email. This is a lucrative offer if you believe in the power of Membership Rewards points as I do. And an additional 5% reward is a nice add-on to encourage members to spend more.
