American Express has been touting new features on the Gold Charge Card in July 2021. They already upgraded the card’s ability to earn rewards with Rewards Multiplier. Now, there is a new cash back offer being released for Platinum and Gold (Charge) Cardmembers as well.

This morning, American Express has launched the promotion, available in the Amex Offers section of your American Express Gold/Platinum Card.

As per the promotion, the American Express Gold Card will credit up to INR 1,500 at Lakme Salon locations for members during a quarter. For Platinum Card, American Express will credit up to INR 2,250 at the same outlets.

There is a list of participating outlets, which includes outlets in Delhi/NCR, Mumbai/MMR, Pune, Kolkata, Baroda, Bengaluru and Hyderabad

Terms of the promotion

• 100% cashback will be applied every time, and the offer is limited to a maximum of INR 1,500 cashback applied to your Gold Card during the offer period. For Platinum Cards, the cash back is limited to INR 2,250.
• Offer valid on transactions made on the saved Card directly in-person only at participating locations. Valid at India locations only. Excludes online transactions.
• Cashback should appear on your billing statement within five business days from qualifying spend but may take up to 90 days from the offer end date 15/10/2021.

Bottomline

American Express Platinum & Gold Cardmembers will be able to enjoy a Salon trip for free when paying with their card, up to a payment of INR 2,250 during the quarter. Don’t forget your mask and social distancing protocols while you do that.
