Last year, American Express rolled out a promotion for American Express Platinum Charge Cardmembers and American Express Centurion Cardmembers, offering them a statement credit for their purchases made on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. As per this promotion, all spends made on your American Express Platinum Charge Card, after saving the offer through Amex Offers (if you are targetted), between November 6, 2020, and May 5, 2021, at the Indian app stores of Apple and the Google ecosystem, will get a statement credit up to a cumulative total of INR 2,500 during this period. Under the renewed offer, you will get another INR 2,500 statement credit in the period May 6 to November 6, 2021.

For the Apple ecosystem, before spending, you must add your Card to your Apple ID and ensure your Card is selected as the payment method. This offer is valid for payments made on the saved Card directly online or in-app at the Apple App Store (Indian) or payments made for Apple Music, iCloud, Apple Arcade, TV+, News+, iTunes and Apple Books.

For Google, before spending, you must add your Card to your Google Play account and ensure your Card is selected as the payment method. This offer is valid only for payments made on the saved Card directly online at play.google.com (Indian store)or in-app via the Google Play Store app only.

You must ensure your Card is charged by November 06, 2021, to be eligible for the Offer.  A 100% cashback will be applied every time, and the offer is limited to a maximum of INR 2,500 applied to your Card during the offer period. The cashback will usually appear on your statement within five business days from qualifying spend but may take up to 90 days from the offer end date November 06, 2021.
