Akasa is the baby of ex-Delta, ex-Jet Airways CEO Vinay Dube, who joined forces with many ex-Jet Airways hands to start work on this new low-cost carrier which will be launched in 2022 if all goes per plan. He also brought along Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and Aditya Ghosh on board. The airline has placed their order for Boeing’s 737 MAX aircraft, and the delivery of these aircraft is scheduled to start in 2022.
Akasa’s Social Media Launch
Akasa intends to launch in 2022, but its Twitter handle is already active. The Twitter handle @AkasaAir came to life on Friday, December 17, 2021, and since then it has been tweeting out random images (until you can start seeing a pattern).
For instance, this is the first tweet they made, with an image of the sun, and a dotted line around it. Those following aviation, think it is a take on Jet Airways, where the top team of the airline mostly draws from. So, a slice of the Rising Sun?

Here is the Jet Airways logo, for those who have forgotten them.
Then, here is a second tweet. I have to admit I needed some help but this seems to be an interpretation of the Air India Logo?

Here is the Air India Centaur Logo, which was used till 2007.
And then, today…

It did not take much to link this to Kingfisher Airlines. The logo, for those who don’t remember.
Now, the cryptic part of this puzzle is that these were all full-service carriers and Akasa intends to be a no-frills carrier. The people working from all these carriers come to Akasa? Because then they definitely need the Delta and Go First logos as well.
Or is this the launch of a jigsaw puzzle with the cutouts being handed out to us every day, and we need to figure out the logo? In which case, does anyone want to join forces to crack this jigsaw puzzle?
What do you think is going on with the Akasa Air Twitter Handle?
