Akasa Air, which launched its international flights a few months ago with operations into Qatar and followed it up by launching flights into Saudi Arabia and the UAE, The airline is now all set to launch flights to its fifth international destination.
Akasa Air to launch flights to Kuwait.
As mentioned in the roundup of Akasa flights launched to the Middle East, Kuwait was the last destination that was approved for Akasa Air. The airline has now announced the opening of flights and commencement effective August 23, 2024.
The timing of the flight is,

With this, the bilaterals for connectivity to Kuwait from the Indian side have been exhausted. They were already exhausted from the Kuwait side. Bookings for flights are now open on Akasa Air’s website and the app, as well as through multiple leading OTAs.
As an ode to the fact that most of the founding team belongs to Jet Airways, the flight numbers being used were being used by Jet Airways as well on the Mumbai – Kuwait and v.v. route.
