Air India currently has quite a few promotions ongoing for domestic and international travel, so it is a good time to recap the current offers on the airline for those planning trips in the days ahead.
Air India Domestic Sale
Air India currently offers a domestic fare sale, starting with INR 1700 on domestic flights, as long as you book your flights by August 25, 2024, and travel between August 22 and October 24, 2024. To avail of these special fares, booking needs to be made at least three days in advance. Here are the starting fares.

Bookings under this offer are open till 23:59 hours IST on August 25, 2024. There is a blackout period between October 8-15, 2024.
Air India’s 10% off for HDFC Bank Credit/Debit Card customers
Separately, Air India is also running a new promotion with HDFC Bank Credit Cards, valid for bookings made by August 31, 2024. Customers with an HDFC Bank Debit or Credit Card will get an uncapped 10% off on Air India Domestic Bookings made on their website with this promotion.
As per this offer, eligible HDFC Bank customers can avail of an instant discount if they use the promotion code HDFC10 to make their bookings on the Air India Website. The travel period for this promotion ends on September 30, 2024, and you need to pay in a lump sum, not through an EMI. I happened to use this discount while I was making some last-minute bookings on August 14, 2024, for my long weekend getaway, and it worked out fine.

If you plan to fly around India in the next few weeks, you should book your tickets on the Air India website. The airline offers discounted fares for booking through August 25, 2024 and travel through October 24, 2024. The airline is also partnering with HDFC Bank to offer a 10% discount for domestic tickets.
