As reported earlier, Dreamfolks is no longer the preferred lounge access provider for specific cards issued by ICICI Bank and Axis Bank. But that is not the whole story, it turns out. Adani Airports has developed its interface and is now operational.
Adani Airports launches LoungeOne
Adani Airports CEO Arun Bansal recently made a statement on LinkedIn that the era of paying intermediaries for lounge access is over. As per him, passengers can now access lounges directly through their platform.
The platform in question is LoungeOne.AI, a website that is equivalent to the DreamFolks WebAccess portal. You need to visit the site and add your credit cards to determine your lounge access eligibility with those cards. From there, you need to generate a QR code that the lounge operator will scan to let you into the lounge.

So far, Lounge access is available at 16 airports through the platform.
- Ahmedabad Airport: Adani Lounge T1, The Lounge (Intl) T2
- Amritsar Airport: Airr Lounge, International
- Bengaluru Airport Terminal 2: 080 Lounge, Domestic
- Coimbatore Airport: Blackberry Lounge, Domestic
- Gwalior Airport: Pahun Lounge, Domestic
- Guwahati Airport Terminal 1: The Lounge Domestic (Ground Floor and First Floor)
- Jammu Airport: Pahun Lounge, Domestic
- Jaipur Airport: Adani Lounge, Domestic
- Lucknow Airport Terminal 3: Adani Lounge Domestic, Budweiser Bar International
- Mumbai Airport: Adani Lounge T1, Travel Club T1, Good Times Bar T1, Travel Club T2, Adani East (International), Aviserv East/West on T2
- Nagpur Airport: Mandarin Lounge, Airr Lounge
- Pune Airport: Elsiyan Lounge (Domestic, International)
- Ranchi Airport: Airr Lounge
- Srinagar Airport: Pahun Lounge, International
- Thiruvananthapuram Airport: Adani Airport T1 Domestic, The Lounge T2 International
- Vizag Airport: Airr Lounge, Domestic
I won’t even say 16 airports have signed up, but rather Adani Airports/Adani Digital Labs has brought together a motley group of airport lounge operators at smaller airports to offer lounge access through their platform. I don’t know what the commercials are. That is, are they offering it for free to all these operators (because, after all, the intermediary era is over), or are they charging a fee?
What is also foxing me now is that earlier, the count of access used to be kept at Dreamfolks’ end, presumably. Now, the banks will have to keep track of the count at their end if they need to serve it up to different platforms, to ensure that excess lounge access is not distributed.
Bottomline
Adani Airports has launched LoungeOne.Ai, a new platform that allows you to add your credit cards and generate QR codes for lounge access at 16 airports across India, for now. This platform is owned by Adani themselves, and not Dreamfolks or Collinson.
What do you make of Adani’s move to enter the lounge access food chain as a direct platform operator?

It’s a sign that Adani considers Software Tech industry seriously and is developing in-house products leveraging the Adani airport ecosystem (moat) + platforms that can scale, maybe across the world (similar to NCPI).
@Adani, umm, nothing like that. Just a landgrab, basically. They want the 100 bucks or so that are made by others on a lounge trip to also come to them.
SBI Aurum, SBI Rupay select all showing no free access. This is definitely not true. If some card is not supported, it should not be added like dreamfolks.
