Following a significant membership drive earlier in the year, Accor’s dining programme, Accor Plus, has announced changes effective October 1, 2025. Here are the details.
Accor Plus Explorer to rebrand as Accor+ on October 1, 2025
Accor Plus, the Asia Pacific-focused travel loyalty subscription programme, will transition to the ALL Accor+ brand on October 1, 2025. And the tragedy is, all existing memberships will be transitioned to the ALL Accor+ Explorer package.
A lot is changing for Accor+. Here are the key changes:
- Two Stay Plus nights stay annually across the Asia Pacific: These will be valid when clubbed with a paid stay night and are not applicable for stays paid via Reward Points. Think of them as the IHG Ambassador vouchers from the past, where you will buy one and get one night free. All existing unused Stay Plus Complimentary nights will be converted to two Stay Plus Nights in the new format on October 1, 2025, subject to a maximum of two Stay Plus Nights in total.
- Bonus 30 ALL Accor Status Nights: Accor+ will essentially guarantee Gold Status upon sign-up or renewal by granting 30 status nights instead of the current 20. Ten extra nights were doled out for renewals this year, but the usual sign-up has been 20 status nights so far.
- 15% off the public rate at 4,500+ hotels worldwide: Replacing the current 10% discount offering at Asia Pacific hotels only. However, you won’t be able to stack this with promotional sales and other rates.
- 30% off dining and 15% off drinks across the Asia Pacific: The current offering was anywhere between a 50% to 20% discount, given the concept was that the diner dines free. This offer is now available, with a flat 30% discount on dining and 15% off on drinks across the Asia Pacific for up to 10 passengers. For 11-20 passengers, a flat 10% discount applies.

As of October 1, 2025, all Accor+ Explorer memberships will replace all existing Accor Plus memberships, including Traveller, Supplementary, Explorer, Explorer Plus, Business Explorer, and Discovery memberships.
- Traveller and Supplementary memberships: You’ll continue to enjoy your existing Traveller & Supplementary member benefits until September 30, 2025. From October 1, 2025, you will be upgraded to ALL Accor+ Explorer and gain access to the elevated benefits that come from this membership. Stay Plus FREE Nights are not included.
- Explorer and Explorer Plus memberships: You’ll continue to enjoy your existing Explorer member benefits until September 30, 2025. From October 1, 2025, you will be upgraded to ALL Accor+ Explorer and gain access to the elevated benefits that come with this membership, including access to Stay Plus FREE Nights.
What happens to your Accor Plus Complimentary Night after October 1, 2025?
- If you’ve already booked a Stay Plus complimentary night, rest assured your booking will be honoured exactly as planned, with no changes.
- If you cancel a Stay Plus Complimentary Night booking on or before September 30, 2025, the night will be credited back to your account. On October 1, 2025, every unused Stay Plus Complimentary Night will be converted into two (2) Stay Plus FREE Nights with the ALL Accor+ Explorer membership.
- If you have redeemed a Stay Plus complimentary night before October 1, it is considered used and will not be converted to a Stay Plus FREE Night.
- If you have one unused Stay Plus Complimentary Night as of October 1, 2025, it will be converted into two (2) Stay Plus FREE Nights with the ALL Accor+ Explorer membership.
- If you have multiple unused Stay Plus Complimentary Nights as of October 1, 2025, each will be converted into two (2) Stay Plus FREE Nights with the ALL Accor+ Explorer membership.
- ALL Accor+ Explorer Stay Plus FREE Nights require a minimum two-night stay.
Accor Plus also made a video about the whole transition to the new programme.
How to get a refund from Accor Plus?
Accor Plus is offering a pro-rated refund if you’re not satisfied with the new offering. You can apply for the refund here (after logging in).

My thoughts
This is yet another dining/subscription program that has fallen by the wayside, and it will now cater to a very niche audience. The niche will include people who already stay in Accor hotels and could benefit from a discount on their dining bills. The new conditions around the use of the Stay Plus “Complimentary” Night and their transition to a 1+1 “Free” Night mean Accor Plus borrowed a trick from the world of IHG Ambassador.
Bottomline
With an Accor Plus subscription, a 50% off dining and a free night were easy to understand. Under the new programme, there will be a flat 30% discount on dining and one night free when staying for two nights (twice in a membership period). What also changes is the discount for Accor hotel rates, which will shift from the “BEST” rate to a non-stackable 15% discount only. Accor has numerous promotional rates, so we’ll see where this goes.

I signed up two weeks back. Requested a refund as the devaluation does not sit well with me.
Thanks Ajay for all the details provided. There was no information from Accor on vouchers from Accor plus like complementary dining, birthday cake and weekend stay vouchers. Are these vouchers valid until my existing membership ends even after new membership benefits start? Are these vouchers still be part of new Accor + membership for new subscribers once it opens in Oct?
I know this very early stage to get many clarifications.
