One of the weak areas for Accor for the longest time has been the inability to earn points when dining at a hotel and not staying there, as compared to, for instance, Marriott or Hyatt, which grant you the points in the loyalty programme regardless, if you are a staying guest or not. Now, this has changed.
Accor has now launched the ability to earn points while at the bar or at a restaurant at all Accor hotels in India, the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, participating in the Accor Live Limitless programme.
To earn points, all you have to do is dine/get your drinks and request points to be credited to your account. You can earn one reward point per Euro spent (1 Euro = INR 87 as I write this). Points will be credited to your account within seven days of settling your bill, and you should retain your bill till you have not received these points.
Why is this important? Accor has some great restaurants in India, which I love, such as Jyran at Sofitel BKC and Zarin at Fairmont Jaipur.
A look at the participating restaurants shows that even ibis hotels will participate, which means even more hotels to earn points at. This is separate from the dining membership of Accor called ACCOR Plus, and valid for all ALL members.
Bottomline
The Accor hotel chain has launched the ability to dine and earn points at Accor Hotels across the country and the region. Points will be accrued at the rate of 1 ALL point per 1 EUR spent to your ALL membership account.
What do you think of this new addition to your ALL membership?

Nice to see Accor adding Dining options but still The points earning system on accor is not upto the mark of Marriott, Hyatt & other guys.
I recently Organised an event at an Accor hotel (the only choice due to its location & availability that day) the total cost of the event came to around ₹16,000+ But on the other hand only 82 reward points were credited.
2 Euros spent= 1 Accor point
@Aakash Coimbatore, thank you for the encouraging words and hope the event went well. We have taken cognizance of your concern and apologize for the inconsistent experience with crediting of points. As mentioned above, a member would earn 1 ALL point on every 1 Euro spent under the new Dining feature upon settling the bill directly at the restaurant or bar.
We would appreciate if you can share details of the transaction for us to investigate and assist further. Please feel free to reach out to me at soumonath.chatterjee@accor.com. Look forward to connecting with you and sharing more details about the program.
Best regards,

Does Marriott offer points for dining at all of its restaurants? I had asked a couple of them and they always deny that it’s an option in the US and not in India.
@FrequentFlyer15, applicable in all of Asia. Since I can’t find my own post from the phone right now, here is the website for you: https://marriottbonvoyasia.com/r+b/benefits
Do you get points if you say book a table via dineout and make payment via dineout in marriott etc.?
@Deepak Jagga, never tried!
