JetPrivilege is running a bonus miles offer in case you decide to buy some JP Miles this summer.

Between May 11 and June 10 2015, all JP Miles purchases over 3,000 JP Miles will earn a 20% bonus, which will be credited along with the originally purchased miles. So, if you purchase 3000 JP Miles, you get 3600 JP Miles in your account. There is no limit to the number of miles you can purchase with JetPrivilege.

Jet Airways sells miles at INR 1.25 + 12.36% tax = INR 1.55, so with this promotion, you are paying INR 1.17 per JP mile, which is a lot of money. I am personally happy when I can get at least INR 1 value from my JP Miles, so in this case I won’t be purchasing miles, given that I already have a reasonable balance of miles in my account. Having said that I did make a purchase of JP Miles long ago, when I required a small topup to reach my goal of a redemption, so this is good to be utilised when you have a small gap to make with your final award ticket.
