Since the pandemic, travel has made a strong comeback. As this happens, hotel and flight rates are sky-high, especially in the luxury segment. However, fortunately, almost all major travel outlets often sell miles and points with bonuses or at a discount, which can make for a good deal on the rates these airlines and hotels offer.
It would be a great time to update all the airline and hotel miles and points that are currently for sale, so you can stock up on the right ones for your travels and start planning your trips for the times ahead. This week is an unusually rich one — Air Canada Aeroplan has flipped its 30% discount to a much sweeter 90% bonus, Air France-KLM Flying Blue is back with up to 80%, and United MileagePlus has launched its strongest sale of the year so far with up to a 100% bonus.

Southwest Rapid Rewards is offering up to 45% discount on purchased points (Through May 30, 2026)
Through Saturday, May 30, 2026, Southwest Airlines is offering a discount of up to 45% on Rapid Rewards points, with a minimum purchase of 3,000 points and a cap of 60,000 points per transaction. At the top tier, that works out to approximately 1.5 USD cents (INR 1.42) per Rapid Rewards point.
Southwest is largely a US domestic and short-haul international carrier, so this offer is most relevant if you’re planning travel within the United States or to nearby destinations like Mexico and the Caribbean. Worth picking up if you have a confirmed itinerary in those regions; otherwise, it’s a pass for most Indian travellers.

Air Canada Aeroplan offering up to 90% bonus on purchased points (Through May 31, 2026)
This is the headline deal of the week. Through Sunday, May 31, 2026, Air Canada’s Aeroplan loyalty programme has a tiered bonus that tops out at 90% — easily one of the best Aeroplan offers we’ve seen all year. The structure is as follows:
- Buy 4,000–29,000 points for a 40% bonus
- Buy 30,000–69,000 points for a 60% bonus
- Buy 70,000–250,000 points for a 90% bonus
Air Canada Aeroplan charges 0.0375 CAD (approximately 0.027 USD or INR 2.59) per point at the standard rate. At the top tier, if you purchase 250,000 base Aeroplan points with the 90% bonus, you’ll receive a total of 475,000 Aeroplan points for approximately CAD 9,375 (USD 6,750 or INR 6,47,798). That works out to roughly 1.44 USD cents or INR 1.38 per Aeroplan point — a remarkable rate for a Star Alliance currency with one of the best published award charts in the business.
Aeroplan remains one of the most versatile Star Alliance programmes for Indian travellers, with redemptions available on more than 40 partner airlines. A Business Class redemption between Europe and India on Star Alliance partners can start at around 45,000 Aeroplan points one way, which, at 1.38 INR per point, brings the all-in mileage cost to roughly INR 62,100 plus taxes for a one-way premium-cabin transatlantic flight. If you’ve been holding off on a redemption, this is the week to act.

Air France-KLM Flying Blue is offering up to 80% bonus on purchased miles (Through May 31, 2026)
Through Sunday, May 31, 2026, the Flying Blue programme — which is shared between Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Transavia, with redemptions also available across more than 30 SkyTeam and other partner airlines — is offering up to an 80% bonus on purchased miles. Flying Blue members with elite status may buy up to 300,000 miles per transaction before bonus, while non-elite members are capped at 100,000 miles. The tiered structure is as follows:
- Buy 4,000–20,000 miles for a 50% bonus (USD 0.0211 per mile)
- Buy 22,000–48,000 miles for a 60% bonus (USD 0.0191 per mile)
- Buy 50,000–100,000 miles for an 80% bonus (USD 0.0169 per mile)
At the top tier, the effective rate works out to approximately 1.69 USD cents or INR 1.62 per Flying Blue mile.
For Indian travellers, Flying Blue is particularly relevant since both KLM and Air France operate direct flights to India from Amsterdam and Paris respectively, and the SkyTeam partner network includes Korean Air, Saudia, Vietnam Airlines, ITA Airways and Kenya Airways. Flying Blue also runs the well-known monthly Promo Awards programme, where surcharges can be reasonable on KLM and Air France metal for off-peak dates.

JetBlue TrueBlue is offering up to 125% bonus on purchased points (Through June 10, 2026)
Through Wednesday, June 10, 2026, JetBlue Airways is offering a tiered bonus of up to 125% on TrueBlue points purchased, with a minimum buy of 5,000 points and a maximum of 200,000 points per transaction. The structure is as follows:
- Buy 5,000–14,000 points for a 100% bonus (USD 0.0161 per point)
- Buy 15,000–200,000 points for a 125% bonus (USD 0.0143 per point)
If you max out the offer, you’ll receive 450,000 TrueBlue points (200,000 base plus 250,000 bonus) at a rate of approximately 1.43 USD cents (INR 1.35) per point.
For Indian travellers, the relevance of TrueBlue is limited unless you’re connecting through New York, Boston, Fort Lauderdale or Los Angeles for onward JetBlue domestic flights. JetBlue’s Mint cabin remains one of the more comfortable narrow-body business class products in North America.

United MileagePlus is offering up to 100% bonus on purchased miles (Through June 24, 2026)
Through Wednesday, June 24, 2026, United Airlines MileagePlus is running its strongest mileage sale of the year so far — up to a 100% bonus on purchased miles. As with all United mileage sales, offers are targeted, so the bonus you see in your account may differ from the published maximum. The structure of the best-published offer is as follows:
- Buy 2,000–4,000 miles with no bonus
- Buy 5,000–24,000 miles with a 75% bonus
- Buy 25,000 miles with a 100% bonus (USD 0.0188 per mile)
The standard rate for buying United miles is 3.5 USD cents per mile, plus a 7.5% US excise tax. At the top tier with the 100% bonus, you can purchase 25,000 base miles and receive 50,000 total miles for USD 940.63 (approximately INR 90,267), or roughly 1.88 USD cents (INR 1.80) per MileagePlus mile.
Two important caveats: First, United has tightened the rules — you can now buy only 50,000 miles (inclusive of bonus) within any rolling 90-day window, and a maximum of 200,000 miles per calendar year. That’s a significant reduction from the previous 200,000-per-transaction cap. Second, MileagePlus does not pass on fuel surcharges to customers on award redemptions, and Air India is in the United partner fold, which keeps Star Alliance redemptions practical in India.

Hilton Honors is offering a 100% Bonus on the purchase of points (Through May 29, 2026)
Through Friday, May 29, 2026, Hilton Honors is offering a flat 100% bonus on the purchase of points, starting at a minimum buy of 5,000 points and capped at the standard 160,000 points per account per calendar year (pre-bonus). With the 100% bonus applied, that means you can effectively pick up 320,000 Hilton Honors points per account in this round.
At the top end, the cost works out to approximately 0.5 USD cents (INR 0.47) per Hilton Honors point — which is squarely in “buy if you have a use case” territory, particularly given Hilton’s dynamic pricing on awards. Hilton lets you combine points across accounts at no cost, so if you have a high-value redemption in mind (Conrad Maldives, Waldorf Astoria Maldives, Conrad Bora Bora, etc.), you can stack purchases across family member accounts.

Marriott Bonvoy is offering a 40% bonus or 30% discount on points (Through June 23, 2026)
Through Tuesday, June 23, 2026, Marriott Bonvoy is offering a choice of either a 40% bonus or a 30% discount on points purchased, with a minimum of 2,000 points and a maximum of 150,000 points per transaction (excluding the bonus). With the 40% bonus structure, the effective cost works out to approximately 0.89 USD cents (INR 0.84) per Marriott Bonvoy point.
If you max out at 150,000 base points with the 40% bonus, you’ll end up with 210,000 Bonvoy points at a cost of approximately USD 1,875 (INR 1,77,056).
For Indian travellers, Marriott Bonvoy remains the most useful hotel currency thanks to its extensive footprint and the 5th-night-free benefit on award stays. The points are particularly handy at the high end — think St. Regis Maldives, W Maldives, JW Marriott Phu Quoc and the like — where the cash rates have run away in the post-pandemic environment.

World of Hyatt is offering a 20% discount on the purchase of points (Through July 27, 2026)
Through Monday, July 27, 2026, World of Hyatt is offering a 20% discount on the purchase of points, with a minimum buy of 5,000 points and a maximum of 55,000 base points per account per calendar year (which, with the 20% discount applied, lets you pick up 66,000 points for a total spend of USD 1,430, or approximately INR 1,37,239). That works out to roughly 2.08 USD cents (INR 2.00) per World of Hyatt point.
World of Hyatt is one of the few hotel programmes still publishing a category-based award chart, which makes the maths predictable. For Indian travellers, the most attractive use cases tend to be the Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa and Andaz Bali at the top end, and the Park Hyatt Bangkok and Grand Hyatt Phu Quoc in Asia. With Hyatt’s award chart changes coming in May 2026, this is a reasonable opportunity to lock in points before any pricing adjustments take effect.

Which credit card should you use to buy miles and points?
Typically, these point purchases are processed through Points.com, rather than directly by the hotel or airline. However, you will almost always pay in USD/EUR/GBP, not INR. The best cards for earning a bonus are the Axis Bank Olympus, American Express Platinum Charge Card, and Axis Bank Reserve Credit Card, as they offer an international spending bonus. Beyond these, consider any card that offers a reduced foreign exchange conversion rate or helps you meet minimum spend requirements, such as Scapia.
