Now collect Marriott Bonvoy points on your Swiggy purchases

If you order food on Swiggy and would like to collect hotel loyalty points, March 2026 has just made dinner a little more valuable. Marriott Bonvoy has tied up with Swiggy so that, once you link the two accounts, eligible Swiggy/ Instamart/ Dineout orders start earning Marriott Bonvoy Points — plus you get Swiggy One and a few promotional extras thrown in.

The image shows a picnic setup with various food items, including a pizza, a burger with fries, and a sandwich. A person is holding a smartphone displaying the Marriott Bonvoy logo. There is a Swiggy-branded paper bag, indicating a collaboration between Marriott Bonvoy and Swiggy. The background includes fruits like oranges and lemons.

Collect Marriott Bonvoy points with Swiggy Orders.

Getting started is low-effort. Open your Swiggy app, go to your profile and look for the Partner Rewards / Marriott Bonvoy tile; choose to link and enter your Marriott Bonvoy membership ID, verify with the password, and you’re done — linking is a one-time step. Subsequent eligible orders should start accruing points automatically. The partner page streamlines the process, directing users to the Marriott Bonvoy app as the primary point of connection. Alternatively, you can use this link to register directly on the website.

The image shows a person walking alongside an indoor pool with large windows in the background, offering a view of mountains. The top left corner has a Marriott Bonvoy logo with "Account Linked" text. Below the image, there's text stating, "Earn 5 Marriott Bonvoy points for every ₹500 spent on Swiggy," with an arrow icon on the right.

What’s on offer?

Eligible Swiggy food orders in multiples of INR 500 earn 1% back in Marriott Bonvoy Points. When you link, you’ll also receive a complimentary three-month Swiggy One Membership for Silver and Gold Tier Members, and a 12-month Swiggy One Membership for Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador Tier members. The points are credited almost immediately.

For instance, if you make a Swiggy transaction worth INR 800, you get 5 points, but if you make a transaction worth INR 1100, you get 10 points. Example of how Points will be calculated & awarded:

The image is a table showing the relationship between order value ranges in INR and the corresponding number of Marriott Bonvoy Points earned. The table has two columns: "Order value range (INR)" and "No. of Marriott Bonvoy Points." The values are as follows:

- 0-499 INR: 0 points
- 500-999 INR: 5 points
- 1000-1499 INR: 10 points
- 3500-3999 INR: 35 points
- 1,00,000-1,19,999 INR: 1000 points

How does this compare to Swiggy/IndiGo BluChip?

It’s helpful to compare this with the IndiGo–Swiggy tie-up covered earlier. IndiGo’s BluChip–Swiggy arrangement awards a fixed number of BluChips for every INR 250 spent. The difference matters when you think about real value: 1 BluChip/INR 250 is roughly a 0.4%-type earn rate, whereas Swiggy’s Marriott Bonvoy deal is 1%, but that 1% only kicks in above the stated minimum of INR 499 and the real redemption value depends on how you ultimately use those points for redemptions. Additionally, the Swiggy-Bonvoy combination accrues points on InstaMart and Dineout.

But there is no opportunity to do triple-dipping here, since you will have to unlink your Swiggy/BluChip partnership to link this one up.

The image shows a notification with the title "Account Linked to INDIGO!" It instructs the user to unlink their INDIGO account to connect with Marriott. There are two buttons at the bottom: "Cancel" on the left and "Unlink now" on the right. There is also a close button in the top right corner.

And while we decide between IndiGo BluChip and Marriott Bonvoy, remember that Swiggy is also partnering with Etihad Guest in the coming days.

Bottomline

Link once, keep ordering as you usually do, and let the tiny trickle of Marriott Bonvoy points accumulate. For regular Swiggy users, it’s a free upside. You will accrue 5 Marriott Bonvoy points for every INR 500 spent on orders worth INR 499 or more at Swiggy.

What do you think of this arrangement between Swiggy and Marriott Bonvoy?

  1. Its a very smart idea by Swiggy. Looking at recent revamp of HDFC Swiggy Card (and knowing HDFC already have Marriot partnership) HDFC may have influenced this. All in all a nice way to accumulate whatever Marriot Bonvoy points can be accumulated.

Thanks Ajay (&team) for providing us with important updates.
