After Bengaluru and Pune, the storied Ritz Carlton is making its way to Hyderabad in the coming years.
Hyderabad to get a new Ritz-Carlton Hotel
Indian hospitality firm Chalet Hotels, the same one that owns JW Marriott Sahar in Mumbai and the upcoming Taj at Delhi Airport’s Terminal 3, has announced that it will introduce its first Ritz-Carlton property in India in Hyderabad. This move will mark Chalet Hotel’s entry into the ultra-luxury hotel segment while strengthening its presence in one of its strongest markets.

According to filings with the Stock Exchanges, the company will invest north of INR 600 crores in the hotel, which will be built in Madhapur, with the land leased from Mindspace. The hotel should be done in about 36 months, so it will be launched in 2029.
This is another super-luxury hotel arriving in India, just like Waldorf Astoria Goa, which we wrote about a short while ago.
Bottomline
The top end of the Indian luxury market is going to boom further, with every developer wanting to enter the luxury space and hotel chains wanting to expose customers to more of their brands in India. The Ritz-Carlton will open its third hotel in India in Hyderabad in the coming years, in the same league.
What do you think of the Ritz-Carlton arriving in Hyderabad?
