While it might not be the most exciting bonus recently offered by a hotel loyalty programme, it’s still worth examining if you have upcoming stays. Dubbed Bonus Journeys, this new offer allows World of Hyatt members to earn extra points on top of the regular points from hotel nights.
World of Hyatt Bonus Journeys 2026 Promotion
The new World of Hyatt Bonus Journeys promotion offers the following:
- 3,000 bonus points for every three eligible nights at any Hyatt property worldwide, up to 21,000 bonus points.
- 1,000 bonus points for every three eligible nights at Hyatt Place or Hyatt Select hotels, up to 7,000 bonus points.
That means a total of up to 28,000 bonus points — which isn’t jaw-dropping, but if you’re already planning a string of stays, this could significantly boost your balance without much extra effort.
To participate in the promotion, you need to register before your first eligible stay and complete nights between February 2 and April 15, 2026, for them to count toward this promotion. An important nuance: it’s your checkout date that determines eligibility, and nights don’t need to be consecutive – meaning you can spread stays across trips so long as all checkouts land in the promo window. Award stays count towards the promotion as well.
Is It Worth Chasing?
World of Hyatt members already earn base points on eligible rates and award stays, 5 points per dollar, plus additional elite and card-linked bonuses. This promotion effectively adds about 1,000 extra points per night, and 1,333 points per night at Hyatt Place/Select properties.
If your travel plans already include Hyatt stays in the first quarter of the year, this is a nice little kicker. If you’d be booking solely to chase these points, the math starts getting fuzzier — especially compared with some promos in years past.
