The Marriott Bonvoy HDFC Bank Credit Card is the only mid-end hospitality co-brand card in India. It affords excellent benefits, such as 10 Elite Nights and one free night worth 15,000 points, all for INR 3,000 annually. Now, there is a new promotion for those who will sign up for the card now.
Why have the Marriott Bonvoy HDFC Bank Credit Card?
The Marriott Bonvoy HDFC Bank Credit Card is the first co-branded credit card in the hospitality space in India. For those who still don’t know, Marriott is now the largest hospitality chain in India, with over 150 hotels of all shapes and sizes, covering the nation from north (Kashmir) to South (Kerala and Tamil Nadu) and from East (Meghalaya) to West (Rajasthan and Gujarat).
The card offers great initiation and annual benefits for a small annual fee of INR 3,000 ++.
- Every year you hold the card, you will earn 10 Elite Night Credits, which is excellent for everyone who wants to gain or retain status with Marriott Bonvoy. For instance, spending ten nights in my bed, but counting towards Marriott Bonvoy Platinum or Titanium Status, is an excellent flex for that small sum.
- Every year you hold the card, you also get a free night award added to your account, redeemable for hotel redemptions up to 15,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. However, you can also combine it with up to 15,000 points from your account and receive a redemption for up to 30,000 Bonvoy Points. This encompasses a wide range of hotels in India. A Marriott redemption for just INR 3,000++ is not a bad deal. And I’ve used it as far as Spain.
- Marriott’s first elite tier membership is the Silver Tier. Just holding the card in your portfolio automatically enrols you in this tier. This allows you to participate in many promotions that Marriott Bonvoy offers exclusively to elite-tier members.
However, the card is currently being offered first year free, as long as you apply for the card by December 27, 2025 (Saturday).

INR 1500 brand voucher for those who sign up for the card by December 27.
The Marriott Bonvoy HDFC Bank Credit Card has launched a new promotion, through December 27, 2025. You get a voucher, redeemable across 15 brands, for a card sourced during the offer period. A gift voucher of value INR ,1500 will be issued only after completing one eligible spend transaction within 15 days of card issuance. The gift voucher will be sent to the Cardmember within 90 days of the credit card issuance month.
I use my card at Marriott Hotels, for instance, and this is a bonus that comes with the deal if I meet the number.
Bottomline
The Marriott Bonvoy HDFC Bank Credit Card offers new cardmembers a first year free card and an additional INR 1500 voucher as a bonus with minimal effort. You need to sign up for the card by December 27, 2025. HDFC Bank also issues this card as a floater, so the chances of approval are high (but in that case the voucher won’t be issued)

Is this offer through any specific link or targeted for specific customers? I can’t find that First Year waiver or voucher details when applying for this card. From where it has to be applied?
Does this card offer any transfer partners like other HDFC card?
@Gaurav, it is a co-brand card, so all points go to Marriott Bonvoy.
