Marriott has long been working on densification in the hills of Uttarakhand. Some of their hits in the region include the JW Marriott Walnut Grove Resort and Spa and the Westin Resort & Spa, Himalayas. I first heard of the latter in 2022, and now the resort is almost ready to go. I wanted to post an update, as the Marriott near the Jim Corbett National Park is now bookable with points, so let’s look at all the details.
Jim Corbett Marriott Resort & Spa opening in April 2025
The Jim Corbett Marriott Resort & Spa is accepting stay reservations as of April 25, 2025. The property will be located outside the National Park confines but near other high-end properties such as Voco and Taj Corbett Resort & Spa on the banks of the Kosi River.

Nestled in the lush wilderness of Jim Corbett National Park and alongside the serene Kosi River, at the foothills of the majestic Himalayas, the resort will offer 99 spacious rooms and suites, each designed to provide stunning views of the Kosi River or the surrounding natural landscape, ensuring a tranquil retreat.
Guests can indulge in a diverse culinary experience across four food and beverage outlets. The Corbett Kitchen will serve all-day dining, while the Great Room will offer a cozy lounge atmosphere. Malani Grill, a specialty restaurant, will delight diners with cuisine inspired by the five elements of nature. It will also showcase breathtaking views of the Malani range and Kosi River. The Sal Bar will provide a perfect space for drinks.
The resort will also offer Jungle Safaris in Jim Corbett National Park, perfectly blending excitement with relaxation in this stunning natural paradise.
According to the hotel website, rates start at INR 45,000++ (USD 520++), the lowest price I have seen through the end of the year.

The property has also released points availability for those looking to redeem Marriott Bonvoy points. Rates are consistently at 24,000 points per night, and of course, with Marriott Bonvoy, you get a fifth night free, which makes it 96,000 points for five nights. It is fantastic value for the points, just like the Westin Himalayas.

Jim Corbett Marriott Resort & Spa pricing in Points
What is known is that the property is not all-inclusive, and there is no insight yet into how the safaris are being offered, given that the Guides operate them under license from the government and allocation is also done through a central government website (it is different that you can pay a premium to book via an agent).
For those who are short on points, remember that there is an ongoing sale that offers a 45% Bonus on purchasing Marriott Bonvoy Points. Also, if you hold the American Express Platinum Card, you get a 10% bonus when transferring MR to MB.
Bottomline
Marriott will open a new hotel/resort next to Jim Corbett National Park in April 2025. The property will feature 99 rooms and suites and is bookable with cash and points. For now, the points rates are very attractive and look like a great price compared to cash rates.
What are you expecting from the upcoming Marriott Resort and Spa at Jim Corbett National Park?

Looks like a lovely place. Glad to see options in India expanding … and I find Marriott (and other brands) to be high quality in service compared to what should be cookie cutter standards.
Quick question – when is the best time to visit this part of India? My guy says April during peak heat to cool down…
@Dev, in the summers, if you want to see the tigers and go on safaris, Suppose you want to just chill out, the winters or whatever other shoulder seasons.
booked 5-10 may using points
