Best Credit Card Offers to buy Apple Products in India

It is that time of the year again when Apple has launched its new phones, and many people will walk in for a purchase. Unlike the last year, when HDFC Bank Credit Cards were the preferred option, given the exclusive partnership between Apple and HDFC Bank credit cards, things have changed this year. Here are all the options you have for your next Apple purchase.

Instant Cashback Offers up to INR 8,000 with Amex, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank Credit Cards

While the rebates and instant cashback with HDFC Bank are gone, three new card offers remain. You get up to INR 8,000 Instant cashback for purchases at Apple stores in India and online at www.apple.com/in. Here are the overall cashbacks available. For the new iPhone 16 series, you get an INR 5,000 discount/cashback; the discount is lower on the older variants. On the latest Macbooks, you get up to INR 8,000 rebate.

American Express and Axis Bank (Until October 2, 2024)

The partnership for purchasing Apple Products with an American Express Credit/Charge Card is valid on the following products until October 2, 2024.

Other Cards bearing the Amex Network Logo won’t get the cashback. The instant cashback amount will be deducted automatically at checkout when card members enter their eligible American Express Card details (when transacting on the website) or use an eligible American Express Card at the time of billing (while transacting at the Apple Store).

The instant cashback can be availed for two orders per rolling 90-day period (for online and offline separately) with an eligible Card during the offer period. Cardmembers can avail of this offer for two orders made on the Apple website and individually for two in-store orders per rolling 90-day period). The 90-day window starts when the Cardmember makes their first purchase with an eligible American Express Card. So that you know, the offer is also applicable to Supplementary Cards. The offer is valid for EMI transactions as well.

The same terms apply to Axis Bank Credit Cards, including the Citi Portfolio, as to American Express Credit Cards.

ICICI Bank Credit Cards (Until December 28, 2024)

ICICI Bank Credit Cards is granting an instant cashback of up to INR 5,000 on Apple products with ICICI Bank Credit Cards, Credit Card EMI and Debit Card EMI. You can also avail yourself of a 3-6 month No-cost EMI. In the case of ICICI Bank, the rebates/cashback are not valid for your computer hardware purchases; they are only for phones and accessories.


5X Reward Points/5% Cashback with HDFC Bank Credit Cards purchased via SmartBuy from Imagine (authorised Apple Reseller).

HDFC Bank Credit Cards still has an ace, their precious SmartBuy portal. When you route your Apple product purchase through Smartbuy and purchase from Imagine, an Apple reseller in India, you get up to 5X Reward Points, which, in the case of cards such as Infinia and Diners Club Black, are worth INR 1 a piece. You can also transfer these points to various mileage transfer partners of the card issuer.

Here are how many points you can earn:

  • Infinia will earn you 5X Reward Points and up to 15,000 monthly bonus points (capped only for the 4X Bonus).
  • Diners Club Black (Metal) and Biz Black will earn 3X Reward Points and up to 10,000 monthly bonus points (capped for the 2X Bonus).
  • Diners Club Black (PVC) will earn 3X Reward Points and up to 2,500 bonus points (capped for the 2X Bonus).
  • Regalia, Diners Privilege and BizPower will earn 5X Reward Points and up to 2,000 bonus points (capped for the 4X Bonus).
  • Other Credit Cards earn 5% Cashback up to INR 1,000

25X Rewards with OneCard, when purchased from iNvent (authorised Apple Reseller)

OneCard has partnered with iNvent to offer 25X Rewards for Apple product purchases. OneCard applies one reward point per INR 50 spent, so in this case, you are getting 25 Reward Points/INR 50 spent, equivalent to INR 2.5, which is a 5% value on the purchase.

You need to activate the offer from the app before swiping the card, and the maximum points awarded will be 1,00,000. This translates to a maximum purchase of INR 2,00,000 per card. The points come through within eight days. For now, this promotion is valid only through September 30, 2024.
