  1. This brings back memories of the Jet Airways scissor hub at Brussels … but with a much more premium intermediate point at LHR.

  2. Hmmm, interesting.

I see two options that open up beyond the obvious IND-CAN routings.

One, LHR-DEL should be a fifth-freedom flight. Hence, there will be further capacity direct, and the ME3 will have to price that route even more aggressively to get market share.
Two, AC becomes an even more viable option for 1-stop connections to tier-2 destinations in USA. Travelers going to places like Portland, Minneapolis, Des Moines, Denver, Cleveland, Detroit … can get viable routing using AC 1-stop.

Wish AC all the best as they can now challenge AI, UA duopoly on that circuit too!

  3. Is it necessary for an Indian passport holder to get Canada transit visa if he travelling from India to USA on AC?

  4. Love the growth, but confused about what is changing?
So the major change is swapping LHR-BOM for LHR-DEL?

YYZ will still have DEL direct? and what’s the significance of YYC announcement? Wasn’t it always able to connect to DEL via YVR, YUL or YYZ?

What does the complete AC schedule look for India now?
