Vistara has made some news today on the wellness aspect of their long-haul flights. The airline today announced enhancements to the Wellness Experience it offers onboard its aircraft, which includes the addition of amenity kits and wellness content on the in-flight entertainment offering.
Vistara to introduce onboard amenity kits effective August 1, 2022
While Vistara’s parent Singapore Airlines continues to be on-again, off-again on providing amenity kits in Business Class and believes in stocking up the toiletries on their long-haul flights, Vistara seems to have decided to break away from the practice of the parent. Until so far, Vistara has been providing socks and eyeshades in a paper bag on board their 787-operated long-haul flights, something like Air India.
Now, Vistara has announced that it will offer specially curated Forest Essentials’ luxurious, ayurvedic ‘wellness amenity kits’ to business class customers on international, long-haul flights starting August 1, 2022. The amenity kits will be offered on all flights to and from London Heathrow, Paris, and Frankfurt, operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. Each amenity kit will comprise the following items in travel sizes:
- Nidra Tranquil Sleep Spray
- Luscious Lip Balm
- Facial Tonic Mist
- Ultra-rich Body Milk
The Premium Economy cabin has been left out of this enhancement, which is usually covered by other airlines when handing out some sort of an amenity kit.
The airline has further added over 17 hours of ‘wellness-focused content’ to its in-flight entertainment (IFE) system across its fleet. It includes tracks for guided meditations, soothing music, sleep-inducing stories, and more, powered by Shyft, an Indian wellness app.

Vistara will launch a new amenity kit for 787-operated international flights starting August 1, 2022. Also, Vistara has uploaded new content on its IFE for wellness across the 737/787 and A320/A321 fleets.
