World of Hyatt has revealed the details of its first significant promotion for 2022, calling it Bonus Journeysin line with many of their previous promotions. The last major promotion from Hyatt had ended on September 15, 2021, so this one comes after quite a while.

You need to register for this promotion before your first eligible day to earn the bonus points. The promotion is valid for stays at all Hyatt properties, participating MGM Resorts, Small Luxury Hotels of the World locations, and Lindblad Expeditions. For this promotion, any stay booked directly with Hyatt qualifies towards the promotion, including stays booked before the start of the promotion. Not just that, the award stays also qualify towards this promotion as well.

As a reminder, World of Hyatt members earn 5 points per USD spent at Hyatts and other eligible properties. To add to it, elite members receive a further bonus, with Discoverists earning an extra 0.5 points per USD, Explorists earning an additional 1 point per USD, and Globalists earning an extra 1.5 points per USD spent.

Combine with other Hyatt promotions

In addition to the new Hyatt Bonus Journeys promotion, there are other ongoing offers from World of Hyatt which you can combine this promotion with to maximise your earnings:

  • Earn 500 bonus points when you stay at a new Hyatt hotel
  • Earn a free Category 1-4 free night when you stay at new Hyatt brands with the ongoing Brand Explorer promotion
  • Maximize the value of your Hyatt stays by booking through the Hyatt Privé programme (bookable here)

Bottomline

World of Hyatt’s new global Bonus Journeys promotion will be launching in early 2022. With this promotion, registered members can earn 2022 bonus points after every two nights, for the first 20 nights during the promotion period. That is not a bad promotion for markets such as my own where the dollar pricing of most Hyatt hotels is pretty cheap. Register here before you forget.
