AirAsia India, which resumed flying just last week, has become the third airline I am aware of after American Airlines and Qatar Airways to offer free tickets to doctors. Just back in May, Qatar Airways had offered 100K tickets to healthcare workers from across the globe. Now, there is the Air Asia Red Pass for Doctors, which is offering 50,000 free tickets to doctors registered to practice in India.
The promotion is distributing the promotion codes to claim the free flights between June 1 and June 12, 2020, and offers a complimentary Economy Class tickets for a doctor within the AirAsia India network for travel between July 1 and September 30, 2020.
Once the promo code is received, the doctor can book a ticket for travel between the above-mentioned dates (July-September 2020). Ticket fare and surcharges will be waived. However, taxes are payable by the passenger. Bookings must be made at least 14 days before departure. You will also need to register for a BIG ID, which you can register on the AirAsia India website.
You will need to upload a copy of your MCI or State Medical Council registration certificate to avail the promotional ticket code.
Here are some essential terms and conditions to ensure only healthcare professionals make use of this promotion:
I’d say this is a fabulous promotion, and if you are a doctor, you should try and see if you can get in. Promo codes will be available on this specific AirAsia India page.
