Ever since JetPrivilege Private Limited launched the ability to earn and burn miles via bookings on other airline carriers, one airline was prominently missing from the airlines available on the platform, Vistara. I am not sure if it was InterMiles blocking out Vistara options, hoping for the resurrection of Jet Airways, or was it Vistara asking to be excluded from the platform. But the good news is, you can now book tickets for travel on Vistara using your InterMiles.
I’ve been monitoring this for over a week before writing this up, and I’ve been now able to find many a Vistara tickets up for redemption as well as cash booking via the InterMiles website. For instance, here is me trying to book a revenue Vistara ticket on InterMiles.com
And here is the opportunity to redeem InterMiles for a Vistara flight (you will still earn Club Vistara miles).
This is great news for those who would like to earn/burn InterMiles on Vistara flights since there is a double-dipping opportunity. You will get Vistara points for each flight you make, regardless of the fact that you are earning or redeeming InterMiles.

Intermiles discontinued standard fare reward structure and devalues intermiles significantly.
I am unable to redeem my miles under standard fare for any sector on any date till next one year.
Earlier I used to get a Mumbai London one way Business class seat for 110000 miles plus taxes but now I check for next 335 days and I am not getting any seat under standard fare.
I called customer and I was informed that intermiles have stopped standard fare reward redemption 2-3 months back and due to which the miles have been devalued by 5 times and this was done without any intimation or update to members.
Any changes made to the redemption structure should be intimated to members well in advance and such drastic devaluation should definitely be communicated to members.
Suddenly my miles have become garbage.
Booked couple of tickets last to last week. Fairly expensive redemption though.
No such Vistara Flights are to be seen. Pl update the info present here. It is misleading.
It showed a few days back but not now.
Last week it was available suddenly. Again it’s not.

I am platinum member and it doesn’t work for me as well. I tried with different dates and sectors. Either this feature is targeted or could have been disabled after this blog was posted.
