The new Bose Quiet Comfort 700 Headphones are now available in India

Bose has one of the most popular noise cancelling headphones amongst travellers worldwide. I’ve used a few of their products, and my last purchase was the Bose QC noise-cancelling earphones which served me very well. Over the years, Bose had a wild success in the QC25 range of on-ear noise-cancelling headsets. They also went to the market with an upgraded version in the QC35. However, we did not see a redesign for many many years, up till now that is. The Bose 700 Headphones are finally here.

The Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 are a full redesign of the popular over-ear headphones offered by Bose, rather than just some tinkering, and they are now available for pre-order in India, on Amazon, for INR 34,500.

Here’s how Bose describes the difference between their QuietComfort 35 headphones and the new Noise Cancelling 700 headphones:

QuietComfort 35 headphones II offer a classic solution for anyone who wants acclaimed noise cancelling technology and volume-optimized audio performance. Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 also deliver on this promise, but feature a brand-new acoustic design to achieve slightly better noise cancelling than QC35 II while also allowing you to transition from full isolation to full transparency. Another key improvement is the adaptive four-microphone system that automatically adapts to your environment to isolate your voice from competing noises so that you can confidently take a call, or talk to your voice assistant. And a new touch interface provides intuitive gesture-based controls for managing your content.

The Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 fold flat with one twist of the earcups. The newly launched Bose headphones offer support for Google Assistant, Apple Siri, and Amazon Alexa. The headphones are Bose AR-enabled, which is touted as the world’s first audio augmented reality platform.

It features three buttons, one for power, one for noise cancellation levels and one for the VPA. Additionally, you can use the Bose Music app for customisation to 11 levels of noise cancellation.

The new headphones have a USB Type-C port for charging, Bluetooth connectivity with a range of up to 10m. The headphones weigh 113g. Bose also states that the headphones come with quick charging that offers 3.5 hours of listening with 15 minutes of charging.
