About a month ago, JetPrivilege announced that they will be moving to a new earning and privileges structure for Jet Airways’ passengers, which included reduced miles & privileges on deep-discounted tickets and reduction of lounge access and other benefits.

This is being done to essentially compete with the no-frill carriers who do not offer facilities to passengers, but are in the same price points as the carriers’ low-fares. So, fare choices will also kick in on all tickets for JetPrivilege earning today onwards.

What is interesting is, as of this morning, there is no difference in the way things look on the Jet Airways website, and they continue to sell tickets in the LoFares, Saver & Value bucket, as compared to moving to Deal, Classic, Flex etc.
