There is a great promotion going on from the IHG Rewards Club these days, which is bringing you up to 71,000 bonus points. This is on the back of some other promotions which could be stacked, such as the new Accelerate promotion, the 10,000 points for Club InterContinental rates and the Book Direct promotion which gets you 40,000 points.
The promotion is called, Stay Again Again for Free Nights. It is a step-up kind of promotion where you get bonuses for every milestone. And a jackpot at the end of it.

The promotion is simple, it asks you to register to get the first 1000 IHG Rewards Club points. Your first stay gets your 10,000 points, second & third stay combined stay gets you another 30,000 points, and to finish the whole promotion you get another 40,000 points. But there is more.
For every stay at an InterContinental Hotel, you get another 10,000 points. This is completely over and above from the Club InterContinental promotion assuming you book that up. These points come to you after the first and third qualifying stay.
Your stays need to be booked in Asia Pacific, Middle East Africa, excluding China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
This is a great promotion, and while it is targeted, one should always try and see if they can get in, because these are very nice bonuses if you are able to register. Try it out here.

Do you think, we can stay at any IHG hotel, or is this limited to Intercontinental Hotels and Resort. Its quite confusing as the email reads –
“Here’s a tip for you – book your next 3 stays at any InterContinental® Hotel or Resort and 71,000 bonus points is all yours! Now, doesn’t that sound exciting?”

The main promotion of 41K points for 3 stays is good in any IHG hotel. The extra 10K points for each of the 3 stays in any Intercontinental makes it 71K total.
I was able to successfully register today, though the points 1000 fore registering did not seem to reflect in my account.
I also tried for the registration however it is not accepting .It seems this is by invitation only
It is requiring a promo code after registration failure.
I called them . the call centre wasn’t aware of it . I think its a targeted promotion.
This is really wow.. While I m not targeted and attempts for unauthorized signins have failed, Can I request them to add me to the target list :).. has it worked that way ever? I v a couple of status coming up in Thailand and can stack it up with book direct.
@Pradeep I wrote to IHG Rewards Club to add me to the targeted list but haven’t got a response yet. Though it’s worth trying and let me know if you hear back
