IndiGo launched their co-branded credit card proposition in partnership with HDFC Bank in February 2020. We talked extensively about the card and the launch, right before the pandemic caused air traffic to shut down.
Now, IndiGo has launched a new promotion for the co-branded cardholders of their 6E Rewards Credit Card, where they are offering a 100% cashback on your flight booking. On a typical day, the Ka-ching card gets you 2.5% 6E Rewards and the XL version gets you a 5% 6E Rewards for IndiGo bookings.
When you book an IndiGo ticket between July 1-31, 2020 using your Ka-ching co-branded credit cards, you will earn 100% cashback as bonus 6E Rewards, up to a maximum of 2500 6E Rewards on the base fare of your ticket. The tickets can be used for travel between July 1 to September 30, 2020. This is not an unlimited offer so that it can be only availed once during the offer period. Bonus 6E Rewards under the Offer will be credited 30 days after completion of travel under the booking. The bonus 6E Rewards will be valid for six months from the date of issuance.
To be eligible for Bonus 6E Rewards under the Offer, the Member shall, (i) book the IndiGo ticket during the Offer Period for travel up to September 30, 2020, and (ii) use the Co-branded Card to make payment of the entire booking amount for such IndiGo ticket, on the IndiGo website or mobile application.
For the cardmembers, this is a sweetener in terms of a promotion to encourage passengers to travel again.
What do you think of the new promotion from IndiGo for 6E Rewards cardmembers?
