Hyatt recently launched a new mobile app to complement their new website, that is geared towards giving guests more information and control for their upcoming Hyatt stays. For example you can now see your room numbers, request for a toothbrush or a shaving kit in advance of your stay or get in touch with the Hyatt concierge in real time through the mobile app.

In order to raise awareness and promote the usage of the mobile app, Hyatt is giving away 500 Gold Passport points when you book a stay with Hyatt’s mobile app through November 30,2016.  This redesigned app is available for Android and iPhone.

As per the terms and conditions  this offer is open for all Gold Passport members and you can earn the bonus points multiple times during the promotion period.  Although 500 bonus points will be credited only once per stay even if you have multiple rooms booked. All eligible rates (cash and cash +points) will qualify under this promotion.

Bottomline:

Although it is not viable to (re)book Hyatt hotels just to gain these 500 extra points but if you already have a stay planned at a Hyatt property then it’s a good idea to book through the mobile app and grab the bonus points. After all every point counts. Don’t forget that Hyatt is currently also running More Points More Play promotion where you can earn up to 75,000 Gold Passport points for 25 nights.
