A couple of days ago, I shared an IHG promotion which offered up to 30,000 points to Book Direct with IHG. If you are staying at an IHG Hotel, you should also be in the know of this recent promotion launched by IHG, where all spends banked to the room are being given 2x points.

The AMEA Incidentals Promotion

Under this promotion, from April 15, 2016, you get 2X points for all in-hotel spending at InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Indigo and Holiday Inn hotels across Asia, Middle East and Africa. As with the prior promotion, China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan have been excluded from the promotion. So, you will essentially get 20 IHG RC points per USD 1 spend on non-room spend between April 15, 2016 to December 31, 2016. The spends valid for this promotion include: charges on food and beverage, room service, laundry & telephone.

Bottomline

I think this is a pretty lucrative promotion for frequent IHG guests, which will help them get more out of their business expenses as well! So go ahead and register anyways!
