After promising a transfer bonus over two and a half months ago, HSBC India has finally announced the details. For Accor Live Limitless (ALL) and for many cardholders, this is one of the better opportunities this year to convert HSBC Reward Points into hotel stays.
The promotion offers up to a 50% bonus in ALL Reward Points when transferring HSBC Reward Points to Accor Live Limitless. However, unlike last year’s straightforward transfer bonus, this edition comes with a spending requirement before customers become eligible for the bonus.
For anyone sitting on a large stash of HSBC Reward Points—holders of the HSBC TravelOne Credit Card, HSBC Premier Credit Card and HSBC Prive Credit Card—this could significantly improve the value of their points.
HSBC launches Accor Live Limitless transfer bonus of up to 50% for Privé and Premier cardholders
HSBC India has rolled out a fresh transfer bonus for Accor Live Limitless (ALL) members, offering eligible credit cardholders the opportunity to receive up to 50% bonus ALL Reward Points when converting HSBC Reward Points into the hotel loyalty programme.
The promotion, which runs from August 5 to August 14, 2026, is not as simple as just transferring points, though. HSBC has introduced a registration requirement, a minimum-spend hurdle, and a narrow two-day redemption window, meaning cardholders will need to plan ahead if they want to maximise the offer.
HSBC Accor transfer bonus: Offer details
The promotion is open to holders of the following HSBC India credit cards:
- HSBC Privé Credit Card
- HSBC Premier Credit Card
- HSBC TravelOne Credit Card
Unlike some previous transfer promotions, registration is mandatory. Cardholders must send the WhatsApp message “HSBCALL” to 86558 58111 between August 5, 2026 and August 7, 2026 to enrol for the offer. Missing the registration window means you will not be eligible, irrespective of your spending or transfers.
Spend INR 100,000 before you can transfer
HSBC has also introduced a spending condition. Eligible cardholders must spend INR 100,000 between August 5 and August 12, 2026 before they can qualify for the transfer bonus. The bank has clarified that transactions falling under restricted merchant categories—as defined under the HSBC Rewards Terms & Conditions—will not count towards this threshold. Additionally, purchases made using Travel with Points are excluded from the qualifying spend.
This means cardholders should ensure they cross the spending requirement before even thinking about redeeming points.
Here are the restricted categories for various products:
- HSBC Prive: Utilities, Tax Payment, Real Estate and Managers, Non-Financial Institutions, Money Transfer, Jewellery, Insurance, Fuel, Financial Institutions, E-Wallets, Bail & Bond Payments and Education & Government.
- HSBC Premier: Fuel
- HSBC Travel One: Utilities, Tax Payment, Real Estate Managers, Non-Financial Institutions, Money Transfer, Jewellery, Insurance, Fuel, Financial Institutions, E-Wallets, Bail & Bond Payments, and Education & Government.
Transfers can only be made during a two-day window
Perhaps the biggest catch in this promotion is the redemption timeline. Once the spend requirement has been completed, eligible customers can transfer their HSBC Reward Points to Accor only during the Bonus Transfer/Redemption Window, which opens at 00:00 hours on August 13, 2026 and closes at 23:59 hours on August 14, 2026. Transfers outside these dates will not qualify for the promotional bonus.
HSBC also requires a minimum transfer of 15,000 HSBC Reward Points in a single redemption transaction to qualify for any bonus. Multiple smaller transfers will not help if each individual transfer is below the threshold.
How much bonus will you receive?
The base transfer ratio remains unchanged. For all eligible cards, 100 HSBC Reward Points convert into 100 Accor Live Limitless Reward Points. The bonus depends on the card you hold.

For Premier customers, HSBC has split eligibility into two tiers.
Customers maintaining a Total Relationship Balance (TRB) of INR 40 lakh or more (for relationships opened before January 1, 2026), or INR 50 lakh or more (for relationships opened on or after January 1, 2026), qualify for the higher 50% bonus. TRB eligibility will be determined as of July 31, 2026. Other Premier Credit Card holders receive the lower 25% bonus.
When will the bonus points arrive?
Unlike the base transfer, the promotional points will not be credited instantly. HSBC says the bonus ALL Reward Points will be deposited into the linked Accor Live Limitless account within 30 days after the offer period, and no later than September 16, 2026.
Some important terms you should know
There are a few additional conditions worth keeping in mind.
- The transfer must be made only to the primary cardholder’s own ALL Accor membership account. Transfers to third-party Accor accounts will not qualify for the bonus, and HSBC reserves the right to forfeit or adjust the transferred points, just like they did recently.
- Once points have been transferred to Accor, the transaction cannot be reversed or cancelled.
- Customers whose cards become delinquent, over-limit, cancelled, blocked or suspended may also lose eligibility, and HSBC reserves the right to claw back bonus points where transactions are reversed, disputed or found to be abusive. hsbc_accor_aug26.pdf
Is this offer worth it?
For HSBC Privé customers and eligible Premier customers, a 50% transfer bonus is one of the stronger hotel transfer promotions we’ve seen from HSBC India. Given that Accor Live Limitless points effectively work like hotel currency with a fixed redemption value, this can translate into meaningful savings on future hotel stays.
The story is a little different for HSBC TravelOne cardholders. TravelOne customers receive only a 25% bonus, capped at 10,000 bonus ALL Reward Points. While still attractive if you were already planning an Accor redemption, it is noticeably less generous than the bonus available to Privé and qualifying Premier customers.
The biggest limitation of the promotion isn’t the bonus itself—it’s the mechanics. You have to remember to register within the first three days, spend INR 100,000 within eight days, and then complete your transfer during a two-day redemption window. Missing any one of these steps means missing out on the bonus altogether.
Basically, HSBC saw the market desperate for Accor ALL points, saw a run on its own points portfolio in May 2026, and figured it could encash this love/desperation to get some run for its own money. So, instead of a straightforward register and transfer, the card issuer wants you to spend INR 100000 in a week’s time to be eligible for bonus points. In my book, it is a pass, purely because I’m not in love with Accor so far.
Bottomline
HSBC India has introduced a new Accor Live Limitless conversion promotion that offers up to 50% bonus ALL Reward Points for Privé and eligible Premier Credit Card holders, while HSBC TravelOne and other Premier customers receive a 25% bonus. The promotion comes with several conditions, including mandatory registration, an eligible spend of INR 100,000, a minimum transfer of 15,000 HSBC Reward Points, and a strict two-day transfer window between August 13 and 14, 2026. If you already have an Accor stay planned and meet the eligibility criteria, this is a good opportunity to extract additional value from your HSBC Reward Points.
Will you be transferring into Accor with your HSBC Points then?

I am pretty sure the exclusion list for premier also includes the 1 lakh a month point earning categories, otherwise its too easy to achieve the target . Also the higher variant Prive and hsbc taj having more restrictions than premier is a bit hard to digest
@MT, you might be right there.
Hi Ajay
Can you please help us confirm this doubt regarding premier.
