Axis Bank Credit Cards offering Cashback for international spends

Axis Bank has rolled out a new promotion for their Visa Credit Card holders, which is going to offer them a small reward for swiping their foreign exchange transactions on their Axis Bank credit card.

Axis Bank Visa Credit Cards offer INR 2023 Cashback.

Axis Bank, along with the Visa network, has rolled out a new promotion on May 18, 2023, where foreign exchange spending made on the Axis Bank Credit Cards will receive an INR 2023 Cashback when a total of INR 1,70,000 spend is made in Foreign currency on the Axis Bank Credit Card between May 18 and August 18, 2023.

The offer is valid only on point-of-sale transactions made during foreign travel at international merchant outlets and not e-commerce transactions. Also, the offer applies only to cardholders who receive official communication from Axis Bank. Also, gamification is involved here, with only the first 2400 qualifying cardholders getting the one-time cashback on their international credit card spends.

If you have not heard from Axis Bank, do not worry since they are still rolling out the promotion details to everyone. I got a message just a couple of days ago. However, this is not a promotion which I would specifically chase since there is no confirmed way if someone will receive the cashback or not. Also, the cashback does not even make it good for the full amount paid as Forex charges to the bank.

Conclusion

Axis Bank Credit Cards is offering INR 2023 cashback to the first 2400 people who spend at least INR 1,70,000 on their Axis Bank Credit Cards in an international currency by swiping or tapping their card. The promotion is valid from May 18 to August 18, 2023.
