In general, this status match opportunity is an easy way to unlock SkyTeam Elite Plus perks, regardless of which airline you fly. On top of that, for those eligible for a Flying Blue status match, it could be worth it. If you are looking to redeem miles for an Air France First Class ticket, then you will need it.
